PREPARING FOR YOUR TREATMENT

In order to have the best full length experience of your scheduled treatment…

APPOINTMENT ARRIVAL: Arrive to your appointment on time. Running late, give me a text at 619-948-6167. Take responsibility to check your appointment date/time and confirmation. Upon your arrival, please wait until the treatment room is sanitized and ready for your appointment and you are invited in. For everyone's safety and health, we ask that you use the hand sanitizer provided.

MAKEUP: Arrive without heavy makeup. Please be sure to apply a moisturizer at minimum. Not applying moisture prior to the appointment may cause your skin to dry just enough to cause microscopic cracks. This may cause sensitivity, rashes and swelling during active product application / penetration.

JEWELRY: Removal of ALL jewelry and leave it at home. This includes, and not limited to, wrist bracelets, earring, necklaces, rings, et cetera. You’ll be asked to take all jewelry off before your session begins and you don’t want it to get lost or worse yet forget to remove it and it becomes damaged. We will not take liability or responsibility for any lost or damaged items during your treatment, or at the spa.

SHOWER: Remember to take a shower. After your session, you will have active ingredients that will need several hours, if not overnight, to penetrate and process. We don’t want you to get water on your skin after a treatment.

CELLULAR PHONE: Turn off ringer and/or put your cellular phone on airplane mode. This is the best place to unplug, unwind, and begin to relax.

CANCELLATIONS: A 48 hour notice is kindly requested for cancellations and rescheduling. In the event of a less than 48 hour notice or no call/no show, we reserve the right to charge 100% of the total scheduled treatment.

In the event of a life emergency or illness requiring you to cancel or reschedule within less than 48 hours notice, we will assess the situation with sensitivity and determine on a case-by-case basis the cancellation, late cancel, no-show fee. We appreciate you for respecting our time and thank you for your understanding.

Please note, during business hours, the phone cannot be answered and texts/emails cannot be responded to due to sanitary reasons. Please be sure to schedule/reschedule and/or cancel according to policies. Prepare in advance so that you have enough time to communicate and ask any needed questions.

RUNNING LATE: We understand that sometimes being late is outside of your control. However, depending on circumstances, we may have to abbreviate or reschedule your appointment. If you arrive late, you will still be charged in full for the treatment scheduled, but may receive an abbreviated session.

PAYMENTS: We do not accept cash payments, however we do accept all major credit card companies. We also take Apple-pay. There is a $75.00 fee for bounced, returned, NSF checks/payments, plus a $25 fee per day for late payment. Late fee collection starts the date services rendered or product(s) received by client. NO REFUNDS OR RETURNS ON ANY PRODUCTS, SERVICES, OR TIPS.

As per our cancellation policy, please note that your credit card information is collected and kept in a secure server when reserving your appointment. Your information is only ever accessed in the event of a cancellation or reschedule less than 48 hours of your scheduled appointment time.

GRATUITY: Gratuities are kindly appreciated. You may add gratuity by way of credit card or you may also leave a cash gratuity for your Esthetician. Industry standard suggests 20% of your total treatment cost.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

The following conditions may require a reschedule for a a facial treatment:

Viruses including but not limited to: covid, influenza, coldsores, canker sores, colds, warts, etc. Bacterial infections including but not limited to: impetigo, boils, conjunctivitis, styes, etc. Fungal infections including but not limited to: ringworm, blepharitis, etc. Miscellaneous health conditions including but not limited to: Undiagnosed lumps or swelling, severe eczema or psoriasis, fresh bruising, open sores, tooth abscess, broken jaw or other facial bone, head lice, recently consumed alcohol, under the influence of drugs, unstable blood pressure, recent head injury, recent neck injury, fever, and or any other contagious disease or infection.

Guest + Children Accompanying the Client: Due to limited seating/space, please understand that facilities are solely reserved for clients receiving direct services. We are unable to accommodate any visitors that may be accompanying clients, this includes parents, children, family members, friends, pets, etc.

Photo/Video Disclaimer: Photographs and videos may be taken during the services to reflect before, during and after facials and/or skin treatments. These may be used for the purpose of monitoring individual process, education, social media, or advertising results or products. Images used will conceal an individual's identity to the best ability. Booking of any service or treatment acts as full acknowledgement, agreement, and consent for photos and/or videos to be utilized by skinbio365 and Kristine Seganti as stated.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY: I understand, acknowledge and accept the risks associated with facial and/or any other services/treatments i schedule to receive with skinbio365/Kristine Seganti, including, but not limited to: waxing, skin treatments/correction, or the use of any of the locations facilities. Except where prohibited by law; I acknowledge and voluntarily assume the risk of injury, accident, or death which may arise from these activities. I agree skinbio365 and its owners and employees will not be liable for any injury, including, without limitation, person, bodily, or mental injury, economic loss, damage to me resulting from negligence, other acts in skinbio365, anyone acting on behalf of skinbio365 behalf, or anyone using the services of the facilities of skinbio365, South Park Fitness, Encinitas Acupuncture and Massage, to the fullest extent permitted by law. This agreement together with skinbio365 rules and regulations constitutes the entire agreement between you and us and cannot be amended, except in writing by both parties. Myself and/or any of my eirs, executors, representatives, or assignees hereby release skinbio365 fa, owner, operator and employees from all claims or liabilities for death, personal injury, pro property loss or damages of any kind sustained while on the premises, or from any advice or services provided by an employee, independent contractor or any representative of skinbio365. I agree that this waiver is in effect for all services, facials, treatments and or any other services and will not expire unless specifically requested and agreed to in writing by either party. I understand that skinbio365 is a safe and professional environment and that any inappropriate behavior may result in termination of services provided and full payment expected. By booking any services, I agree to the above terms and release skinbio365 and its employees, owners, operators from any liability.
